Things you didn’t know: the 104 was not originally a hatchback and had an engine which was sloped back at 72deg.

I certainly did know that latter fact. My (early; 1986) base model Peugeot 205 had the same engine. Did you know that in that X drivetrain engine and transmission share the same oil?
